I am a research faculty member in the Psychology Department's Memory Development and Policy Lab. I am interested in working with individuals with developmental disabilities and working with data to decrease healthcare and resource inequity. The Memory Development and Policy Lab has a background of research on sleep and memory in individuals with developmental disabilities, with the goal of building partnerships to make that body of knowledge available to support successful forensic interview in cases of abuse. Prior to coming to Virginia Tech, I was part of the research team at the Center for Autism Spectrum Disorders at Children's National Hospital, working on construction of research databases comprising common measures collected from different groups. I also oversaw the operation of the ECHO Autism Clinic series, a Project ECHO program for primary care, diagnosing, and educational professionals whose work intersects with autistic individuals. The community-focused, transdisciplinary, and solution-oriented approach of the Whole Health Consortium at Virginia Tech is something I value greatly.
