Monique Dufour, PhD
My current project, _Sustainable Teaching_, explores how faculty can manage their time and energy as teachers and promote deep learning. Over my career, I have studied the opportunities and barriers to faculty thriving across their roles and responsibilities through a novel model of integrative faculty development. In addition, I teach the history of medicine, including the history of mental health, disability history, and medical humanities. I've overseen many student research projects in that area, and have completed a major research project on the history of bibliotherapy. I bring expertise in professional development, higher education, and pedagogy, as well a history.
