Collaborated with Warren Bickel on the NIH-funded Social Interactome project to apply social networks to help with recovery from addition. Collaborating with Jeffrey Stein with NIH funding on applying machine learning to aid management of obesity and diabetes through improvements in episodic future thinking. Collaborating with Lynn Abbott on CHRB funded study to address obesity and diabetes with wearables and AI. Supervising MS and Ph.D. students involved in the above, and in work toward personalized health monitoring and advising, including with chat. Affiliate member of VTCAR. Faculty advisor for Reiki Club (since 2003).
