Driven by a commitment to health equity, my research interest focuses on bridging the gap between innovative technologies and its translational application to improve health outcomes and ensure access to quality care, especially in low- and middle-income countries. My current work aims to integrate a portable DNA extraction platform with detection tests to accelerate point-of-contact diagnostics in low-resource settings.
