My project with Dr. Zhang's Lab on Postpartum Readiness aligns with the Whole Health Consortium's goal of seeing declining rates of women attending their postpartum visits with their OB/GYNs and/or feeling prepared to handle the postpartum period. As we prepare to understand more about this disparity, our research findings will allow us to come up with solutions to better address this need in our community - which is one of the goals of the Consortium.
