I am a licensed clinical psychologist and assistant professor with Carilion Clinic/Virginia Tech Carilion School of Medicine. My research has focused on health psychology, prevention, and implementation science, including substance use concerns, pain management, and measurement-based care. The aim of my research has always included the ultimate goal of improving the health and well-being of the populations I have studied via improvement in understanding of mental health concerns and implementation of empirically based practices. I strongly value interdisciplinary collaborations.
