My research is focused on better understanding human performance in the domain of healthcare. I am particularly interested in implementation of technology, and the impact of technology innovation on individual and team performance within the complex, adaptive system of clinical care. My work in this area has been funded by the AHRQ, NIH, CDC, Robert Wood Johnson Foundation, and other state and local organizations.
