My research interests include conversational AI, large language models (LLMs), chatbots, human-AI interaction, digital platforms, cognitive biases, and behavioral nudges. Using both quantitative and qualitative research methods, I study these topics and phenomena almost exclusively in the digital (mental) health context with health disparities being an overarching theme in most of my projects. My work is highly transdisciplinary and draws from information systems, computer science, economics, psychology, and medicine with the ultimate goal of creating a meaningful and solution-oriented research agenda that leads to more equitable health outcomes.
