I apply epidemiologic methods to prevent, minimize, and interpret biases across the spectrum of health science research and applications. As a researcher in CBHDS, I collaborate with others to employ my expertise in quantitative study design and implementation, survey development, data collection and wrangling, statistical analyses, mathematical modeling, and data visualization and communication. My research has focused on SARS-CoV-2/COVID-19, HIV and other sexually transmitted diseases, and reproductive and maternal health. I have prior experience in domestic and global health research, and applied epidemiology at state and local departments. I am interested in research that informs evidence-based guidance, disease prevention, and harm reduction, especially focusing on health disparities and marginalized groups.
