My research examines children's emotional development, specifically emotion regulation, and how parents can support this development. Examining parental emotion regulation is also a piece of my research, as parent emotion regulation can be associated with parenting behaviors, parental mental health, screen use, and much more. Supporting healthy parents will ultimately have a positive impact on children.
