The role of Public Health Program & Policy Research Associate with the Institute for Policy and Governance at Virginia Tech has given me the platform to explore, research, and be involved with agencies, organizations, and individuals who serve vulnerable populations. My research focuses on multi-disciplinary and community based approaches to learning how to best serve those in need and how that knowledge translates across disciplines. I have supported program evaluations, applied research and technical assistance programs addressing human services, healthcare access, community well-being, and social disparities.
