As a social epidemiologist, I specialize in investigating disparities in health and healthcare accessibility among vulnerable populations. Methodologically, I draw upon analytical techniques from epidemiology, geography, and economics. My recent work has focused on two main areas: 1) assessing and developing tailored interventions to improve the health and healthcare accessibility of displaced populations, particularly refugees; and 2) measuring and evaluating geospatial accessibility to healthcare facilities using various modes of transportation.
