As Associate Dean of Research for VTCSOM, I work to provide broad support for the research being conducted by our faculty and medical students. As Director of Foundational Sciences curriculum, I oversee the pre-clerkship phase of our school's education mission. Along with clinical and basic science, our curriculum is firmly grounded in research and in health systems science, the study of how care is delivered within a healthcare system, how health professionals collaborate, and how the healthcare system can improve patient outcomes.
