From Evidence to Action: A Whole Health Insight Series
Now with CME credit available!
The Whole Health Consortium is proud to launch From Evidence to Action—a new series that highlights innovative research and fosters cross-sector dialogue around whole health.
This session is designed to spark conversation. Rather than a series of presentations, it will feature a moderated discussion that brings together researchers and invited discussants to explore shared themes, lessons learned, and emerging insights from their work. We’ll look at each initiative through the lens of the whole health paradigm—highlighting connections, challenges, and successes.
Audience participation is encouraged throughout the session. Questions and reflections can be shared at any time via the Zoom Q&A feature to help shape the dialogue in real time.
Our inaugural session on October 28 from 12–1 PM will feature a panel of researchers whose work addresses pain management, behavioral health, and access to care. Speakers include:
- Junghwan Kim, Department of Geography, Virginia Tech
- Rena 'Liz' Courtney, PREVAIL Center for Chronic Pain, Salem VAMC
- Meagan Brem, Department of Psychology, Virginia Tech
- Robert McNamara, Psychiatry, Carilion Clinic/Virginia Tech Carilion School of Medicine
Projects featured in this session include:
