My research, practice, and educational activities align with the mission of the Whole Health Consortium by advancing human-centered, transdisciplinary approaches to resilient built environments and community well-being. Through projects on disaster-resilient housing, infrastructure planning, and smart urban systems, I examine how post-disaster housing interventions shape equitable and sustainable community well-being. This work integrates engineering, computing, policy, and health perspectives to develop solution-oriented models and frameworks that support healthier, more resilient communities. In teaching and mentoring, I prepare future construction and infrastructure leaders to not only address technical challenges but also to consider broader impacts on human health, equity, and quality of life. Collectively, these efforts contribute to revolutionizing systems and policies in ways that enable people and communities to pursue healthier lives.
