Dr. Esra Buyuktahtakin Toy's research integrates advanced systems optimization, machine learning, and simulation modeling with pressing challenges in public health, mental health, and well-being. Her work develops data-driven decision-support tools that improve healthcare access, resource allocation, and resilience, with recent projects focusing on equitable expansion of mental health services under the Whole Health model. Through transdisciplinary collaborations spanning engineering, medicine, policy, and community partners, Dr. Buyuktahtakin Toy's educational and research activities align closely with WHC's mission to revolutionize systems, practices, and policies in support of holistic and equitable health.
