The regional work of opioid abatement is directly aligned with several elements of focus within the whole health consortium. Our organization and team have worked closely with the MPH, medical school, school of neuroscience and psychology to support student learning and community engagement in these spaces. We also participate in collaborative grant writing, seeking and research to improve lives of people in the New River Valley, Appalachia and the world.
