My research, practice, and educational activities are deeply aligned with the mission of the Whole Health Consortium at Virginia Tech. Through transdisciplinary collaboration, I focus on developing innovative solutions that promote equitable health and well-being. By integrating diverse expertise, my work aims to revolutionize systems, research methodologies, practices, and policies to support individuals and communities in pursuing meaningful lives. This holistic approach ensures that health and well-being are addressed comprehensively, fostering sustainable and impactful outcomes.

- Diabetes prevention program: Implementing produce boxes to encourage healthy eating habits.
- Fitness and fruit and vegetable consumption program: Combining physical activity with nutritional education to improve overall health.
- Cooking demonstrations: Teaching practical cooking skills to promote healthy eating.
- Food safety training: Ensuring safe food handling practices to protect community health.
- Food pantry tabling with food sampling: Providing nutritious food options and samples to those in need.
